Delivery Van

Delivery, or cargo vans, have load capacities similar to pickup trucks as well as similar towing capacity.

Load & Towing Capacity

They can be purchased with half-ton, three-quarter-ton, and one-ton options. This means commercial cargo vans can take on maximum loads of 2,000 lbs.
Towing capacity can be as high as 10,000 lbs. Equal to a five-ton equipment trailer.

Advantages
  • Deliver more packages: Cargo vans are designed to carry lots of cargo.
  • Deliver heavier packages: They have a lot of payload capacity -the maximum weight you can load into your van before it stops operating properly. Deliver longer size packages: A van can also offer extended cargo space for lengthier packages like lumber or drywall.
  • Maneuver easier: Delivery vans are smaller and lighter than a freight truck and easier to maneuver and get in and out of tight spots. CDL’s are not required in most states.
